: vulcan greeting?

on my way to the office this morning i snapped the below photo from inside my car. for the 2nd time in the past week this guy has been standing at the end of the off ramp that i take off of rt. 91 north. appears nationwide really pissed him off! it also appears he may be giving a vulcan greeting? (for those of you out there who know a little bit about star trek)
