: gas battle!

wow, the gas battle is on in cromwell & rocky hill along rt. 99...the route i travel to work each day. unleaded gas was $2.98 on monday and the prices have been plummeting all week with one station trying to one-up the other. on my way in today i paid $2.73 per gallon. how can prices fluctuate 25¢ in a week. i filled up with 11 gallons on monday, that is $2.75 I could have saved! that is 11 gum balls, that is a 40 oz., that is a 6" veggie sub at scrubway! it is a conspiracy i tell you, a damn conspiracy! blow up your car, ride a bike!
